Can Lead Shot Be Thrown Away

CHRISTMAS

Nativity Geertgen tot Sint Jans (1480-85 around, London's National Gallery)

This delicate and beautiful painting that is not among the most popular but, to me, sums up in himself all the magic of Christmas, I want to wish all our friends who can spend in joy and serenity the next party.

How Much To Build A Casita

Frankie Goes to Hollywood romance from the world of digital

anagrafe My sisters name is Francesca, but for all Frankie has almost fifteen years, from when our host sciura in London had tried unsuccessfully to call her by her full name for a month in a row, regularly fall back on the diminutive Englishman who was easier. After two and a half years of absence from the United States, Frankie decided to grace with his presence and experience firsthand the glamorous life of Los Angeles. The city has responded well to visit: mild climate, great prices at the designer shops, beautiful Christmas decorations on Rodeo Drive. Frankie has satisfied spread, with two enormous suitcases crammed with trophies of his shopping and add a package to send, just to reiterate the purchasing power of the euro against the dollar. The shopping mania has infected even Sterling, normally refractory to shopping malls, which has inexplicably decided to make up the wardrobe Outlet Calvin Klein. Sole exception of myself, which generally prefers to stock up on clothes in Europe, where small firms can range between unknown and ethnic clothing. Shopping aside, the visit of Frankie was a balm, as always: I do not know the person more peaceful and accommodating of my sister, ready to make friends with everyone despite a somewhat shaky English and always give a helping hand at home despite the please sit back and relax, which is basically on vacation. Back in Italy, has finally started the course in criminology who has registered recently and that is her dream come true professional. Frankie will also be a shopping maniac with a physical model from a past and Cubist, but social assistance is his daily life and the criminal world at large attraction that can not resist. Contradictions of the human psyche that I, as the video game industry professional, with forays into the kitchen and in cross stitch, I would not dream of criticizing. Frankie is one of the most interesting human beings I know and one of my greatest satisfactions is to observe shape its future with determination, milling obstacles as if it were the easiest thing in the world, without compromise and without ever taking itself too seriously. All this, of course, from a height of four inches of heel.

December 4: SANTA BARBARA BYE

There are some historical data on Barbara: it seems that he was martyred during the persecutions of Maximian around the fourth century.
The figure of Santa enters the legend with the publication of Acts in the seventh century followed the publication of the Legenda Aurea, written by Jacopo by Voragine (Varazze).
E 'considered the protectress of all who live in danger of sudden death and, in particular, gunners, carpenters, firefighters, architects, bell .. these protections include the story of his life.

Dioscuro was the daughter of King of Nicodemus, the father locked her in a tower, built specifically in order not to show it to anyone that did not stop there were many pretenders to her hand.
Meanwhile Barbara had converted to Christianity during the absence of the father, asked the architects to add a third window in his tower, in honor of the Trinity.
When the father was aware of these facts, blinded by anger, handed it to the court to be sentenced to death the same father, was substituted for the Executioner execute the sentence.
Barbara was beheaded and immediately his father, struck by lightning and died incinerated.

The origin of the name is Greek and means foreign.
relied on for protection against lightning, was venerated as early as the seventh century, is one of the fourteen Holy Helpers and one of the "Quatuor Virgines Capitales" (the others are: St. Dorothy, St. Margaret and St. Catherine).
It is usually depicted with a palm branch with peacock feathers and its attribute is often a tower that has three windows. Sometimes she has a crown.

In the painting by Robert Campin, the window we can see the tower where his father Dioscuro to imprison.
the chimney, the sculpture represents the iconography, Barbara's devotion to the Trinity.
The Santa shown here is while you are reading and studying the scriptures.

Dogging Meeting Places

October - 60 Luana

October

60 Years In October the weather is nice on my island. The guys who took advantage of a scooter to get around on beaches exposed to the west where the sun is hot, make the final bathrooms, the elderly, for chatting on benches or stroll in the afternoon and feel less alone in the villages, the mothers to take the children outdoors.
Even my mother can not remember that October day, but only the year, took us to the public gardens beside the beach of The Gravel, in space where there were games and animals in a cage. The
monkey, macaque named Mark, I was a little 'fear was not a pretty sight that mangy skin and legs that stretched toward those who approached the network.
but I liked the peacock when he made the wheel. I was looking at him he opened his tail twice, then walked the swing.
It was nice to go on the swing. I pushed myself alone, the maximum bending your legs under the table and trying each time to give me more momentum and I could get higher and higher. There I spent the afternoon. The pleated skirt is flying open, imitating the wheel of the peacock.
usually had plenty of time to meet my favorite game. When your hands hurt because it was too long had tightened the rope, I stopped.
That day, that time had not yet arrived. It was good to the gardens, there were other mothers, other children and I flew, I flew and I was fine.
Every now descended to drink at the fountain. Near the cage, there was the storage of municipal gardener, always closed. Not that the man did not work, I saw it go through the wheelbarrow along the areas where the gardens were divided. Pittosporum hedges of an area divided from each other and joined the gravel paths. He went back and forth picking up leaves and leaves which then overturned near the warehouse.
The fountain was beyond the warehouse, on the other side of the cage of the animals, our zoo Lilliputian although the island did not need to know the animals to a zoo. It was enough to raise his eyes to see the sea gulls, the sparrows in the trees. For the roads traveled by horse-drawn carriages and almost all families had relatives who kept the campaign, then donkeys, chickens and sometimes rabbits and cows and goats.
I was swinging well, the sun was warm to the four. He was soon to fall. So I thought until my mother called.
"We must go."
'E' soon. "
" We have to go to the port, comes papa. "
" No, two more laps. "
" No! You come. "
Then, for our sake, he returned to work close to home and touched to wear the uniform, though not for the Navy, but for a private owner. In winter it was dark blue, on the reverse in summer white.
In October, it was still white, uniform or no uniform, I loved my father, even though it was severe. With me, after all, it was not.
Of course I had to act like a lady, do not interrupt the speech of adults, eat with knife and fork, not to improper questions, but I loved him because I felt his love on the skin when m'infilavo in Latvia with my own or when I passed of nuts hidden under the in the table and laughed when told that was due to leave the restaurant because I pointed out loudly that two adults had not yet learned to eat the prawns with a knife and fork.
And even once forced him, against my will to get out of a restaurant in Naples in the room after I was running toward him yelling that I had made big poo on the toilet!
This episode, however, do not remember, told me. I was little and Naples m'è remained only the image of huge Santa Claus through the streets. Perhaps they were little and I see them larger. Who knows. Like I feel great, although small, walking through the summer nights next to a child that I lost the name and face in the memory, while walking in front of our parents on summer evenings, at Giglio Porto.
was good like going on the swings, maybe more because I heard the sound of the surf and the sound of fishing boats that were covered in black and white stood on the ferry, where my father worked, the ship that was a bit 'our home and where a old sailor made me hear the voices of the men were off fishing vessels. As I liked the sounds that came from a canister and shrill that microphone where he lowered his head slightly called it, not sailors, but the name of the boat! I was little and I felt great.
was a word too damn tiny and became a big word big and heavy as a boulder, a burden that I took until reason prevailed on emotion.
that I had no bad intentions, just to feel great and instead someone up there had misinterpreted. What I knew then that accident was so bad a curse and that could translate to "you were an accident."
The accident happened after less than a month, on board another ship is white, in a distant city that I've never visited and where I will not go away because I took him on a day in November. Damn
was not my fault your accident. I did not want Dad did not want. Why did you abandoned?
The ship suddenly tilted to one side and you volasti up, especially me when I went to swing and then you fell to the ground, in that the dry dock and we saw no more.

Brazilians By Yourself

Occasionally, one Sunday in windy and not very busy, deciding to make a jump to IndieCade, a convention of independent developers that promises to be the event alternate weekends. Sometimes you chat with people more or less well-known video games industry and be invited to a barbecue by a designer with whom my mentor I had been in contact, but I had never met in person. It happens between a burger and a portabella grilled mushroom, look around and find that you are surrounded by developers from Japan, Argentina, Austria, and yes, even away from Iowa. It happens then that the Japanese designer in question is one of the most loved by me and Sterling, one of the few places along our tastes are diametrically opposed when it comes to video games. And it is at that point that something unexpected happens. The designer, called Keita (as indeed do all, as is his name Anagrafe) recognizes Sterling and runs towards him, then he sees me and almost touched. The knowledge goes back a few months ago, when Sterling had met Keita for an interview, but what escapes me is what you are said on that occasion. I find that Sterling has the flat-spotted the touching story (very true, among other things) how it is I that he had reviewed a game before Keita to meet, as if I had to read the article and I thought Sterling that distant and unknown journalist was right on my wavelength. A thin but very long, which, through an ocean and a continent, we see now happily married. Well, Keita story of how his game has helped to unite two people is stuck with for months, maybe even made him reconsider his job in a different light. And this is what struck me today: as a form of entertainment to that of many cold and no soul can hide so much humanity. Like every game we create, that we review, can somehow influence the lives of many, for better or for worse. I will remember this more often when they perform a job unwillingly, perhaps covering the genuine smile of that photo with Keita.

What Would Pokemon Looklike With Genitals

The answer is: Japan (again!)

The few who tried to guess we were not taken. That of the previous photo was not a Buddha but the Thai Dai-Butsu, the largest Buddha statue in Japan which is located in Kamakura, an hour south of Tokyo. And where else could we go in this time of year? The work calls, the Tokyo Game Show has been increasingly active (although less and less full of news) e tutte le scuse sono buone per abbuffarsi di cibo giapponese nella madrepatria.

Shibuya: Il quartiere dove eravamo quest'anno.

Crepes Japanese They underwent a parallel evolution compared to the original French and now provide a bit of everything from pieces of cheesecake with fruit and ice cream. They're great!

Small kimono: The girl was fantastic in her colorful kimono, her mother a little less in his clothing occidentalissimo ...

Kamakura: edge of one of the main temple there was a pond with water lilies worthy of an impressionist painting.

Penelope and coffee: Every year a celebrity West can to infiltrate Japan to advertise a brand of coffee at random. Last year was the turn of Tommy Lee Jones, but this year it was up to Penelope Cruz.

Hama-Rikyu-Teien: was once the private residence of the shogun, is now a public park not too crowded, from which several ferries.

Okonomiyaki - first stage: ingredients arrive at the table in different bowls, customers will mix and cook them on the grill staff. There are various types of okonomiyaki: this was in Hiroshima style, ie with the noodles, and it was very different from those that occasionally appear in the United States.

Okonomiyaki - finals: Fired "frittatone" you can put on different types of sauces, for example, a ton of mayonnaise.

Odaiba: on the island of Odaiba (appropriately built on garbage) before loomed a colossal statue of Gundam. Now that we have removed there remained only this replica of the Statue of Liberty has honestly left me a little puzzled. What does he mean?

Akihabara: excellence in the district for the electronic video game retailers and game rooms are not lacking. This shows I could not photograph it, because he has a ghost from Pac-Man con il cappello di Mario.

How To Unlock Vip Suitcase Combination Lock

In fact I have not ever gone ...

The sedentary lifestyle and lack of travel bore me to death, but that is precisely what is happening in this period. Of course, we moved recently to a new city and we are still trying to acclimate and (soprattutto!) to buy a car, which would make our lives a little more varied. While waiting for the turn, however, we do life and neighborhood pool. I can not call myself unsatisfied, no, but I miss the variety of scenarios and humanity to which I was accustomed to San Francisco. Our neighborhood of Los Angeles is a bit too white and western for my taste, although it does what it can to give himself a shot of multicultural diversity (a Korean concert hall, a Mexican-Indian fusion restaurant, a cute little Japanese cafe on the corner). In this city very accessible to a pedestrian I also lost my daily points of reference: I would not know where to buy trivial things like yeast, the pillow for a carbonara or cheese that has the consistency of Yocca. I know, it takes patience, but I am a person known to be devoid of this virtue. One thing, however, I can tell completely satisfied with the Italians I met in LA definitely give a track to that of San Francisco. It will be in the Bay Area that were almost all a bit highbrow and with phenomenal scholarships, so all in all little interest in friendship with a freelance journalist who writes (horrors!) video games. Now that Fabrizio prepares to leave the Bay, I would feel really short of interesting Italian to attend if I lived there again. Here, however, the archetype of the university researcher is replaced by the waiter aspiring actor. It 'a category that does not attend, but outside of this area have known blogger and regular commentator with whom I went immediately agreed. I saw availability, kindness and wanted to go without the initiative always went away from me, I participated in conversations that would go beyond the formality of the usual questions like "How long have you lived in United States? How come you moved here? ". I saw the daily reality of people who live here and there that are more or less struggling to build a life, a career and a family. I found support and desire to open up and I felt a little closer to the "good" parts of Italy that I miss a little, especially after having had to skip the traditional annual visit to the family. On this basis I think I can bear even a temporary lack of own transport (and on those public sooner or later I'll write a separate post, that there is to tell!).

Do U Get Dry When Ur Due On Your Period

How To Put Digital Comics On Psp

Basilicata, a land of many colors to discover

Basilicata - The clear blue sea, breathtaking mountains, rolling hills, verdant plains, villages and art hanging on rocky ridges, volcanoes, rivers and lakes, pristine forests, and even a desert, in his more impenetrable heart. Is this the Basilicata, in the small area that perhaps few people know, if not to be passed through to reach other, more famous tourist destinations south of our treasure trove of incredible beauties against a backdrop of the charm of virgin lands had not been taken d 'assault by mass tourism and perhaps this represents the greatest wealth!
hospitality that has its stems from the ancient, honest, genuine peasant culture by which resists even a sort of spontaneous sacred host. But the Basilicata - that a beautiful photo book just published, " Basilicata seen from the sky" created by the renowned photographer Guido Alberto Rossi, documenting in all its beauty - it is also gastronomy, with its intense flavors and authentic colors bright, with its blue skies and clear waters of the Ionian and Tyrrhenian that lap the shores, and the intense green of the forests that cover it. And yet boundless horizons and landscapes to get lost with the look and pamper yourself with a slow tourism, able to truly reconcile with themselves and nature.

It is no coincidence
Lucania (woodland, from Latin Lucus, woods, like the ancient Romans called it), the other name by which this region is known, was often chosen by leading filmmakers as a location for their film sets. This is because, although a small region, holds within it a universe of many microcosms between their sometimes very different than looking at them, unaware of where you are located, could easily be thinking about distant and exotic lands.
example? The Badlands Lucani, an amazing array of desert lands, canyons and peaks of clay that recall the arid landscapes of Cappadocia or Arizona. Here are films such as King David (1985) by Bruce Beresford, the wolf (1996), Gabriele Lavia, Scorched Earth (1999) Fabio Sawyer, to the more recent The Passion of the Christ (2004) by Mel Gibson. Parks and protected areas are varied. There therefore propose only some while for all other information you may refer to the site very well done 's Apt.

The Pollino National Park

At the turn of Basilicata and Calabria is the largest among the Italian parks and its well 192mila acres covered with lush forests. It is the undisputed realm of rare and millennial Pine loricato (found only here and in parts of Serbia), a real paradise for hiking, horseback riding or mountain biking, rafting (on the river Lao), canoeing (in the Gorge Raganello), rock climbing. Here between June and September are celebrated also strange "marriages" where to get married are not human beings but trees that join the second fascinating ritual whose origins are lost in the mists of time.

majestic trees propitiatory rites to invoke the fertility of the land that in many ways reminiscent to those Celtic. Ceremonies so beautiful it takes your breath between nocturnal expeditions in the dense forests in search of the "spouses", killing, an ax, these giants of nature (A fir tree and a beech, which are then implanted in the ritual "marriage"), transport with oxen in their respective countries (Round Viggianello, Terranova del Pollino, Castelsaraceno). The Park is a beautiful natural scenery with beautiful mountains, lush forests, landscapes, ranging from Mediterranean to the beech woods to the high-altitude meadows with their beautiful flowers, and wildlife of the most varied and interesting in the south of Italy , among which the presence of wolves.

Regional Park of Gallipoli and the Dolomites Cognato Lucane

With more than 4 thousand hectares is one of the most beautiful natural parks and typical della Basilicata con la sua lussureggiante foresta di latifoglie, ceduo semplice, roverella e cerro e il suo ricchissimo sottobosco abitato da tassi, lupi, faine, donnole, lepri, istrici, oltre a cinciallegre, usignoli, picchi, falchi, gufi, barbagianni.
A minute and thirty seconds to 120 km / h suspended 400 feet above the ground, slung on his stomach with a steel cable passing over rocks and deep ravines, but also impenetrable forests and villages (and Castelmezzano Pietrapertosa) set like gems among rocks and placed this among the most beautiful towns in Italy, once a hotbed of who among these hills to seek shelter or lookout points to check the surroundings, to monks from the Saracens up to the robbers during the robbery of Lucan.

And just nearby, you can relive the exploits of the bandits through the countryside and environmental Historical Park of Basilicata, also known as Of the Grange Park, named after the forest where it is hosted in the town of Brindisi di Montagna, twelve kilometers from the regional capital, Potenza, which is centered around the cinespettacolo "The story banned," the largest multi-media performance of Italian folk theater . An hour and a half between cinema and theater using the latest technology and special effects that simulate explosions, battles, fires, gives the viewer a sense of participation in the first scene, in a sort of live-action film that takes shape before his eyes.

I Calanchi Lucani

deep canyons, dry white dunes that crumble under the weight of the agents atmospheric, pinnacles and huge natural clay sculptures that the centuries have shaped giving it the strange and fanciful shapes. This is the scenario in which we come visit one of the most remote corners, and perhaps that is the most magical of Basilicata, Basilicata to the Badlands. They are located in the heart of south-eastern region, between the closed forests of the Apennine mountains and the fertile plains of the Ionian coast in the province of Matera , and are forms of erosion triggered by the combined action of the sun (warming the superficial part of the clay causes cracking through the numerous cracks) and infiltration of rain water that causes erosion of the clay. The Badlands offer unusual views for our Peninsula Here you can enjoy walking slow and winding streets with their suggestions have inspired poets, painters, directors and writers, including Charles Levi who spent between 1935 and '36 his period of confinement writing " Christ Stopped at Eboli .

Among other places of nature in the region do not miss the National Park of Val d'Agri , with its valley that opens a hole in that stretch of the Apennines, which is the real green lung of Basilicata, ' Vulture area , home of delicious wine Aglianico , with its extinct volcano Mount Vulture precisely, and picturesque Monticchio Lakes, the Regional Park of the Murgia Matera with its bleak moorland, the ' Oasi WWF Bosco Pantano a reserve with a dense forest vegetation that is pushed to the Ionian Sea, populated by sea turtles, otters, moorhens, herons, cormorants, beetles, hawks, kingfishers, the Reserve Abetina of Laurieton with its magnificent specimens of white fir with a circumference of up to 4 meters, the lake Pertusillo el ' Oasis WWF Pantano Pignola for birdwatchers. For those who love the sea, nestled between pristine vegetation and sheer cliffs that plunge in the blue water certainly Maratea, on the Tyrrhenian coast, or Metaponto , Policoro Scanzano and on the Ionian coast for those who prefers the wide sandy beaches.

Which Is More Addictive Percocet Or Darvocet?

Day Trip to San Diego

Although both Just two hours from here in San Diego had never been there until last Sunday. And to think that the day had started very differently. Sterling and I were at the market in Hollywood to go crazy with fruits and vegetables in California, when we receive a phone call that tells us that a dear friend in Atlanta is in San Diego for work. Completely ignorant of geography in California (as indeed many other Americans), poor Steven could not imagine that we were so close and had not thought to warn us in time. So we downloaded fruit and vegetables at home in record time and we jumped on the Mini Steven # 2 (think Sterling's friends all have the same name), south. To me, that I had never gone beyond Costa Mesa, la parte bassa di Orange County è stata una sorpresa inaspettata.

Can You Take Benzonatate With Amoxicillin

Viewpoints

Speaking on the phone with my friend:
Me: "... and recently went back to cross stitch, I left a little"
She: "You are old"
Me: "In I'm actually making a giant screen Pac-Man "
She:" How did you geek

In fact I enjoy cross stitching, it relaxes me and distracts me from above boxing prowess of Sterling, who now does nothing but play Fight Night 4 every night because the review is imminent. GreenPixels I even commissioned an article about arts & crafts applied to video games, a clear sign that they are not alone in this world. I was also thinking of buying a sewing machine and find someone to teach me how to use it, so my masterpiece will finally have a practical use (for example, Pac-Man should become a pillowy for the living room).

Talking about something completely different (but still related to video games), I found a mentor. Or rather, he found a mentor to me. E 'official news now enough that I'm trying a career change from journalism to the localization and translation of video games. It 's a fairly difficult process, because companies locating suspicious of the new generation, always fearful that you want to steal your work. I'm going a little groping and translating all me what comes to hand, but also free to give me a name (my Italian translation of this wonderful game was published yesterday, by the way: have a look and if you do not know how to fix it ask me). A few days ago I decided to address Women in Games, an association of which I share with the other 800 poor souls who form the minority of women in this industry. Apparently it worked, because soon after I received an email from an industry veteran who has offered to help me in my career change by contacting the people with whom he worked in the past and could be useful . All for the sole purpose of helping a philanthropic woman to make inroads in an industry almost completely dominated by men. The funny thing is that I realized I know very well this veteran, at least to fame was the author of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Secret of Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle and many other famous titles of the year '90 I played furiously with my sister and squeeze in two of the chair my father's study. My mother looked at us, smiled and shook his head: he would never have imagined that those games would have been my salvation after fifteen years ...

What Color Shoes To Wear With Light Blue Dress

For (s) is the luck of the Smurfs E3

exchange between home and boxes I had almost forgotten the existence of E3, the usual fair dedicated to video games which, like it or not, we're still an issue. The strangest thing about this year was able to go home every night rather than in a hotel room with bad internet connection courtesy of the company of Sterling. This edition has returned to its former glory, after the last two years, much narrower than that I was sincerely sorry at all. But here again, check the chaos, the crowd of onlookers, the booth babes half-naked and appointments postponed at the last minute because of the PR round was confused, or perhaps did not sleep enough for all the previous month. I'm not a fan of the events so great, also because it ends to see fewer and fewer games than you would like. But there is also some positive aspects as well: the evening party, chatting with random industry people who would otherwise never happen to cross, games and accessories received as a gift just because you are journalists, celebrities involved against their will as legitimize the game in the eyes of the general public, and all the pleasure of trying titles that will not be in stores several months before. Titles that remind me from time to time because I do this job, because I want to stay in this industry. A vortex which is nice dive, but which is equally beautiful to remember back to a normal life.

Written Check Example

ceilings and rats in New York April

Pensavo male. Il nostro obiettivo era quello di trovare casa nella zona del nuovo ufficio di Sterling, which is to Miracle Mile. It 'a central area that is rapidly depopulated since the beginning of the economic crisis. Rents have suffered heavy falls, and we thought we would find the deal of the century. The truth is that most of the houses around Miracle Mile are beautiful outside and horrible inside. Many have ceilings so low that there was Sterling barely stand, let alone our library of 2.30 meters. In a few cases have touched even the threat infested apartment: we were warned that a popular residential park area has beautiful houses with floors inhabited by cockroaches and "rats the size of those in the metropolitan New York" (I quote) . After two days of despair were ready to look in another neighborhood, when we turn the corner of the new Sterling office and see a promising-looking new building. We decide to ask and tell us that in fact there really a free apartment as we want. It does not cost much either! After a five minute tour of the property we are completely convinced: we live in this place. Not only are there two cars in the garage for us, but there is also a gym, sauna, swimming pool, Jacuzzi and a spectacular roof terrace from which you can see the hill with the Hollywood sign. We signed the contract a few hours ago and we will move in less than ten days, suddenly Los Angeles began to like it more. I must also say that the dinner with Argentine Valeriascrive, Valeriamamma Strazioman and put me in a good mood as only the new contract for the house has. In short, the apartment and here it is in all its glory ...

pool Area: are not huge, but the pool is that the Jacuzzi is open all year. I've never had a pool before, so I'm happy ...

Courtyard: Our balcony is immediately below the one with the umbrella. Both the living room, the bedroom facing the courtyard, so the only noise you hear is that of the fountain.
